KJ-WIP: Animating Kid's character


Kid's base animations are these: SitIdle, CrawlMove and KneelIdle, on which we are focused at first, plus one extra anim: Held. Each corresponding to an action.


In fact, the KneelIdle animation is for transitioning between sit pose and crawl pose, and vice versa. 


Remember that Kid Japhet is a crawling kid. When not crawling, he is sitting.

One main feature of the game is that Kid is able to be held over the ground, by a chibi angel called Angelis, hence the Held anim.


We use a combination of Krita, Paint.NET and Spriter to create all the animations. The reference poses come from posing the 3D model of our player character with Blender.
